Our Story

How it all started...

The Christian church in Harriman was the first to build a permanent structure church building after the town was formed.  The original church building was built in 1901.  A new facility, including a new sanctuary and educational wing, was built in the late 50's and early 60's.  Our sanctuary seats 250 people and the educational wing is more than adequate to meet the church's needs.

Expanding the vision...

Today, our church is actively living out its calling in Harriman County by serving those in need. Each month, we provide food for hundreds of individuals and families in our community.
We are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus—not just in what we say, but in what we do. Our efforts are rooted in Matthew 25, where Jesus teaches that whatever we do for the least of these, we do for Him. This is not just a belief we hold, but a mission we are already walking out.

Where we are headed...

Where we are headed is not complicated, but it is intentional.
We will continue to feed those who are hungry, serve the homeless with compassion, and create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus. We will boldly share the gospel and baptize those who respond.
Our heart is to see lives changed—one person, one family, one story at a time.
